Anthony Ray Parker is an American actor who was born on May 13, 1958 and, to fans of The Matrix, he is also known as Dozer, a role he played only in the first part of the trilogy.
He is the pilot and medical officer on the Nebuchadnezzar, a hovercraft whose captain is Morpheus. Dozer was the one who helped Neo recover his body strength after Neo was extracted from the power plant. Dozer’s other unofficial business was to prepare the moonshine on the ship.
Dozer (and his brother Tank – also a crewmember) were born in the real word, in the last human city called Zion, so they didn’t have the jacks in their bodies and, as such, they couldn’t enter the Matrix. Dozer was killed with a lighting gun by Cypher, who betrayed the entire crew of the Nebuchadnezzar so that he could be plugged back into the Matrix.
In The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions we are also introduced to Dozer’s wife Cas, with whom he had two children (all three of them now living in Zion). Dozer’s sister Zee married Link, who took the job as the operator of the Nebuchadnezzar in respect for Dozer’s memory.
