HOW TO COUNT FROM 20 TO 30 IN MONGOLIAN | Learn Mongolian Lesson #3

In this lesson from the Learn Mongolian Series, my Mongolian friend and Olympic archer Gangtugs Jantsan will teach you how to count from 20 to 30 in Mongolian.

As a general rule, the numerals from 21 to 29 are formed by combining the word for 10 with the respective number. For example, 21 is a combination of 20 and 1: hori (20) + neg (1) = horin neg (21).

Let’s begin the lesson.

20 – hori
21 – horin neg
22 – horin hoyor
23 – horin guraw
24 – horin doruw
25 – horin tav
26 – horin zurgaa
27 – horin doloo
28 – horin naym
29 – horin yes
30 – guch
