Tuesday, April 5, I was present in my quality as free-lance journalist for Bangkok Trader at the Gala Premiere of Mindfulness and Murder, a murder mystery movie directed by Bangkok-born Tom Waller. Before the actual screening of the movie, the director and main actors shared their experiences with the audience.
Brother Satchapalo is played by Prinya “Way” Intachai, member of the award-winning band Thaitanium (left), the the journalist Jenjira is played by Charina “Kaew” Sirisinha, a Thai singer also known as “ZaZa” (center), and Natalie Glebova (right), Miss Universe 2005, plays herself as the good samaritan.
Vithaya “Pu” Pansringarm (right), plays the leading role, that of Father Ananda, a monk-detective in charge of solving a murder that took place at his temple in Bangkok.
From left to right: Way, Pu, Natalie, two Paragon Cineplex representatives, Tom, Zaza, and two media delegates.
P’ Pu talking about his role in Mindfulness and Murder.
Even though she played only a small role, the mass media was all over Natalie!
Way, also known as the “Sexiest Man in Thailand,” seemed like a very polite and down-to-Earth individual.
Zaza just can’t stand still…
The event was a media frenzy!
Natalie Glebova and her well-rehearsed smile and posture.
Mindfulness and Murder was released in cinemas around Thailand on April 6. For theatrical trailers you can access De Warrenne Pictures website.
